By accessing or using the Siyar app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Services
Siyar offers users access to various job opportunities and career development resources. These include: - Job Listings: Access to listings for internship, cooperative education (Co-op), and Graduate Development Programs (GDPs). - AI Resume Enhancement: A feature allowing users to create, upload, and enhance their resumes using AI technology to improve format, structure, and content suggestions.
3. AI Functionality and User-Uploaded Content
The app provides AI-powered tools to assist users in improving their resumes. When you upload a resume or use the AI enhancement features, you agree to the following terms: - User-Uploaded Content: By uploading your resume, you grant Siyar a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and process your resume for the purpose of providing AI-driven enhancements. - Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that all content in your resume is accurate, complete, and truthful. Siyar is not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in user-uploaded content. - AI-Generated Improvements: While the AI system provides suggestions for resume enhancements, users remain responsible for reviewing and accepting or rejecting those suggestions. The app does not guarantee that the AI improvements will result in better job opportunities.
4. Data Usage and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. While Siyar may collect certain data to improve the app's functionality, the following policies apply: - Data Collection: Siyar may collect usage data (such as time spent on the app and feature usage patterns) to improve the app's services. However, no personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or resume content) will be associated with this data. - No Third-Party Sharing: Siyar will not share your personal data, including your uploaded resumes or AI-enhanced content, with any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law. - Data Protection: Siyar employs industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee complete data security.
6. In-App Purchases (Siyar Points)
You can purchase Siyar Points within the app and use them across multiple features. Points are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After one year, any unused points will automatically expire and cannot be refunded or extended.
Note
Purchases are processed through the respective app stores (Apple or Google) and are subject to their terms and conditions. Refund requests must be handled through the store where the purchase was made.
5. User Responsibilities
Users of Siyar are expected to use the app lawfully and responsibly. Specifically, you agree to: - Accuracy of Job Applications: Apply only for jobs for which you are eligible and qualified. Misrepresentation of your qualifications or experience may result in account suspension or termination. - Lawful Use of Services: Use the job listings and resume enhancement features in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the app for fraudulent activities, including submitting false resumes or applying for jobs under false pretenses. - Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
7. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Content: All content provided within the Siyar app, including job listings, AI algorithms, and software code, is the exclusive property of Siyar and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without express written permission from Siyar. - AI-Generated Content: Resume improvements generated by the AI tool are based on the content you provide. You retain ownership of your original resume, but Siyar retains rights over the AI algorithms and any system-generated enhancements. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use AI-generated suggestions for your personal use.
8. Limitation of Liability
Job Listings: Siyar provides access to job opportunities but does not guarantee that users will be hired or contacted by employers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or disappointment resulting from reliance on job listings or career resources provided by the app. - Resume Enhancement Outcomes: While the AI enhancement feature provides personalized suggestions, Siyar makes no guarantees regarding the success of resume modifications in securing job opportunities. Users assume full responsibility for accepting or rejecting AI-generated improvements. - App Availability: Siyar does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the app and will not be held responsible for any downtime, loss of data, or technical issues that may arise.
9. Changes to Terms of Use
Siyar reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app following any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Termination of Services
Siyar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use, misuse the app, or engage in any fraudulent or unlawful activities.
